the following things have happened, in unreliable order:

1) I traveled halfway around the world, twice. While I was in India, there was a cyclone. It flooded the beach a day after we went there. Providence, or something. This weekend was dorm move-in for the fall, so I was busy. Interaction, so stressful. But rewarding.

One thing I found: the dorm I’m in this fall has coed floors, and upon check-in women are given bathroom keys. Men aren’t. Sure enough, the women’s bathrooms are locked, and the men’s aren’t. There are so many things wrong with this scenario I can’t ( Read more... )
